From Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass to Sting, A&M Records has helped define American music. Its founders, Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, helped make stars out of The Carpenters, Joe Cocker, Peter Frampton, Janet Jackson, Styx, Sergio Mendes and many others.
