Spring Sing: A Show Like No Other

As the sun rises over the Central Ticket Office, hundreds of students are already lined up for tickets to the one show at UCLA no one wants to miss—Spring Sing. The first Spring Sing was held in 1945 as a competition among fraternities vying for the affection of their sorority sisters through song and dance. Today's show features UCLA's very best in the performing arts. Large production numbers, bands, a cappella groups and soloists headline the show and have given rise to pop sensations like Sara Bareilles and Maroon 5. Add to the mix a hilarious sketch comedy troupe, high-energy hip-hop dance crews, surprise celebrity guest judges and a legendary musician honored with a lifetime musical achievement award, and you've got three hours of non-stop WOW! This year, the show returns to Pauley Pavilion, promising to elevate the Spring Sing experience.
