This is not the way Medieval gymnasts played pool. At least, we don't think so. This image is an echo of bygone days in Kerckhoff Hall. Our billiards enthusiast is one of several medieval-themed, stained-glass windows in the venerable campus home of ASUCLA. It lives in the Charles E. Young Grand Salon, formerly a men's lounge, along with other windows that show "real" men's sports such as boxing and football. We love the windows so much, in fact, that this is the second time we've featured one of them. The other, which ran in our April 2006 issue, also is located in the men's lounge and shows a, um, rear-end view of a skinny-dipper preparing to dive into "ye auld swimming hole."
